The most beautiful beach in Europe - Brela - Makarska Riviera - Dalmatia
Brela is the perfect holiday destination in all seasons: for people, who are tired and look for peace and tranquillity to regenerate; for active sportsmen and adrenalin enthusiasts; for young families (because of its clean water, sandy beaches and abundant natural shadow created by pine trees, Brela is very children friendly); for all who look for fun and entertainment (just 15 min by foot you can reach the centre of Brela, with live dance music on terraces and regular fish evenings, a lot of entertainment and fun into the morning in the cities Baška Voda and Makarska nearby); for gourmets (a wide range of quality restaurants, that offer traditional food, meat and fish specialties; all Mediterranean culinary delights can be rounded up with an exquisite Dalmatian wine).
Choose between the hot summer sun or the natural pine tree shadow, in every case you can refresh yourself in the crystal-clear sea water.
Green, violet and blue are characteristic colours of the natural environment and vegetation in Brela. It has inspired us to choose the same colours for our web site.
You can reach the surrounding islands by boat, ship or ferry. Brela is the ideal starting point for various trips and excursion.

Brela is an excellent starting point for short or long trips and excursion to the islands Brač and Hvar or to the cities Split, Trogir, Makarska, Dubrovnik. The mountain Biokovo, which is stretched all along the Makarska Riviera, is a protected national park and it offers numerous possibilities for trips and different activities. Its highest peak is Sveti Jure (1762), which can be reached by foot, bike or car, and it rewards its visitor with a spectacular panorama view of the Adriatic sea, the islands Brač, Hvar, Korčula, Lastovo, Vis and the peninsula Pelješac. The view reaches to Mljet and Italy, on the inland to Imotski and Bosnia. Mountaineering and climbing on the climbing walls of Biokovo is a special adventure for the daring. You can scuba-dive and experience the beauty of the underwater world or explore the surroundings by bike or inline skates. The culinary specialties are exquisite. Imagine the taste of the traditional Dalmatian smoked ham “pršut”, which is naturally dried on the Bora wind. Are you getting hungry?
